Over 3.3 lakh category certificates issued in J&K in 2 years: Govt | KNO

Srinagar, Oct 28 (KNO): The Jammu and Kashmir government on Tuesday said that it has issued 3.3 lakh certificates under various social and economic categories in the last two years. In a written reply to a question by Waheed-ur-Rehman Para, the government, per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), said tjat the highest number of certificates were issued in Jammu district, followed by Udhampur, Kathua, and Rajouri. It said a total of 70,268 SC, 60,243 ST, 76,664 OBC, 21,386 EWS, 47,399 RBA, and 38,280 ALC certificates were issued across Jammu and Kashmir in the 2-year period. It further said these certificates were distributed across all districts to ensure eligible individuals avail benefits of various government welfare schemes—(KNO)
